Up for auction is a 1971 Ford Bronco. I am the third owner of the Bronco. I have the original owners card in the glove box. I bought it from the second owner who bought it in the early 90's and stopped driving it about 1996. It sat in one place for over 20 years until I bought it. The body is in incredible shape. All original panels inside and out. The only rust that I have found is the obvious surface rust on the top (could easily be fixed but I just like it the way it is), some surface rust at the front of the rocker where it meets the front fender on the passenger side, and a small rust hole in the grill where the undercoating was sprayed extra heavy which caused it to hold water/condensation. The front floors had some surface rust from the original floor mat so I wire brushed them down and sprayed some rust reformer on them under the mat to make sure they stay solid. The body has never seen any repairs and never been repainted. Also, I have only washed it, never waxed or buffed it so with a little work, it could look even better than it does now. It has a bench seat and bulk head which make the Bronco extra solid. The undercarriage is very original with a heavy layer of undercoating that has kept this Bronco so solid. It has the original 302 V8 motor with almost 20,000 original miles on it. It cranked right up after sitting for over 20 years but I made upgrades anyway. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket. I replaced the original oil pump with a new pump, put a new oil pan with a screw in style dip stick. I replaced the original fiber type rear main seal with an updated rubber type seal. I replaced the timing chain and gears, water pump (new aluminum high flow), radiator (new original style), all hoses and belts, new Edelbrock Performer 289 aluminum intake and new Edelbrock 4-bbl carb. New plugs, wires, and new HEI distributor. Also replaced the old starter with a new gear reduction style starter. It cranks and runs like new. I replaced the flywheel and installed a new diaphragm style clutch that works with ease. Along with these upgrades, I added new Borgeson power steering (all components new along with new steering linkage, tie rod ends, and drag link, new steering damper, and new track bar bushings). The power steering works perfectly. Also added power disc brakes (all new parts except original Ford spindles, knuckles, and caliper hangers). All new brake system front to back (master cylinder, booster, bracket, brake lines, brake hoses, calipers, pads, wheel cylinders, shoes, all new hardware, etc.) The emergency brake works as well. It has all new suspension. New front progressive stock height coil springs and new stock height rear leaf springs with new U-bolts. All new stock style shocks. New stock style C-bushings on the front end along with new radius arm bushings. The Bronco has all new bearings and seals at all four wheels as well as new pinion bearings and carrier bearings in the rear end. It has new front and rear drive shafts. New u-joints in the front axles. New Warn locking hubs. The fuel system is all new as well. New tank and fuel lines as well as a new mechanical fuel pump. All gauges work (new temp sender and oil pressure sender). All of the lights work (new halogen headlights and new lenses and bulbs on blinkers, brake lights, and side markers). Windshield wipers work with new wiper arms and blades. Brand new BFGoodrich tires all around. This thing rides fantastic! The doors operate just like they should and lock as well. The rear liftgate works well and locks too. The horn works but not all the time (may need connections in the horn button cleaned). New weatherstripping for doors and rear included but not installed. I will also include a nice original dash pad to replace current one that is rough. I have two sets of original keys and two sets of copies that will go with the Bronco. I would drive this Bronco anywhere. VERY, VERY EASY TO COMPLETE RESTORATION TO YOUR SPECS OR DRIVE IT JUST LIKE ITIS FOR YEARS TO COME. Please message me for more pictures and videos of the Bronco running and driving. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck!!
