1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Base 4.7L

Right off the bat for those who don't bother to read. This is a good 20 footer out of N. C. & driven YES driven to MI with MI title issued 06/07/11. It has been a summer cruiser only. If your thinking this is a frame off fully restored car ready for the show circuit and your thinking its worth $30k & your gonna nab it for peanuts. stop reading now and go look else ware. Now if your a reasonably intelligent gear head that finds this to your liking. then keep reading. You are looking at a VERY SOLID south eastern car that"s around 90% rust free. Yes its been repainted. once ? twice ? who knows. I noticed it's been liberated of a lot of trim and all lettering is gone. So it's got a cool plain brown wrapper vibe going on. Probably look better with staggered steelies on cheater slicks with poverty caps. on the other hand. it's sitting on hard to find Mustang Magnum 500's and Brand New Cooper cobra's with New lug nuts. I will not ship the car. but will drive the car to a waiting transporter at a truck stop five minutes from my home by appointment. It fires right up. runs GREAT. goes down the road. shifts thru all gears ( its a three speed on the tree ) and stops within reason with the widow maker single line non assisted manual brakes and manual steering ( steers easier then yeah think ) I had considered a 4 speed top loader with the correct Hurst bench seat shifter for it. The cars paint looks decent - but has some chipping here & there. I havent noticed any dents to speak of. The quarter lips feel solid & are rust free above the tire. The rust it does have is to both inner lower quarter areas behind the tires and some non visible areas forward of the front tires up high. Mileage is likely to be rolled over
