History:

We found this Bronco in Colorado where it spent its entire life. It had been one family's work and play vehicle with only 60,000 original miles on it. The Bronco had its original Jade Green paint, which had an incredible sun-baked patina. We loved this as you could clearly see it had never had any damage or any paint work. It was one of the most solid, rust free Broncos we had seen. Although the patina was awesome and it would have been fun to leave it, we knew this Bronco was the perfect candidate for a detailed and very special restoration.

Exterior:

Once the Bronco was stripped to bare metal we sealed, primed and gave it a high quality multi-stage paint job. We wanted to keep most of the Bronco original so we decided to keep it green, as it was originally Jade Green, but we chose a very special green to make it more elegant and unique. The color we chose is a Chevrolet green called Fathom green. It has a golden metallic to it and it looks amazing in the sun. This color was used on the 1969 Corvette, as well as the Camaro and other cars. The top was also stripped and restored using the factory Ford Wimbledon white. We replaced all of the lights, trim and badges. and refurbished all of the hardware. New rubber seals were also installed. We installed new Mickey Thompson Classic III 15”x12" wheels with some cool BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A 33" tires. We also refurbished a custom rear tire mount that was extended to include the Jerry Can. If you look closely on the spare tire you can see we took an old boot spur and made it into the wheel lug. Custom Pocket wheel flares were added with stainless steel hardware.

Interior:

Just like everything else, the interior was completely restored. The dash was stripped and repainted the factory Wimbledon white and completely refurbished original gauge cluster was installed. Before we added the new carpet, we insulated the entire interior with Dynomat to reduce road noise and to better insulate the truck. The seats we completely restored, but the covers as well as the frames and all of the hardware. We restored the factory roll bar and welded it together to get rid of the bolts to make it look cleaner. We added a vintage looking Restrosound Bluetooth radio was installed with some speaker pods mounted to the roll bar. We had some fun and created a custom shift knob for the Hurst floor shifter that was made from a brass saddle horn from a Civil war saddle. A spur also hangs from the rear view mirror.

Mechanical:

Almost everything has been rebuilt, replaced or refurbished under the hood and underneath. The original Ford 302 V8 was restored. A new carburetor was installed, as well as a custom exhaust with chrome long tube headers with an H pipe with two Magnaflow mufflers and dual side exhaust with chrome tips. It sounds great and is very drivable, a great rumble but not too loud unless you put your foot into it. All new Bilstein shocks were installed and both the front and rear drive shafts were replaced. Brakes, belts, hoses. ignition, etc. were also gone through. It is basically a brand new truck.

A lot of time, money and love has gone into this build and I hope it finds a very special home with someone who will be just as excited to share its story to al of the new people the Bronco will make smile. Although we feel it is perfect as it is, we would be happy to make any changes, upgrades, etc. to make it truly "yours" if you so desire. Please contact me with any questions and please call me before you purchase or make an offer. I can also assist with finding a reliable and very reasonable transporter. Jonas 310-600-1182
