1955 Ford Fairlane NO RESERVE!
Clean title, on non-op since it was parked in 2015.
272 Y block
3 speed Ford-o-matic
Engine and tranny were rebuilt 500 miles ago roughly. Due to personal injuries the vehicle has been sitting for 3 years after engine any tranny were rebuilt. Engine runs and tranny works but some minor mechanical issues, possibly timing issues. Rough idle and runs on for a few seconds after turned off.. Was running smooth when parked 3 years ago. Condition is as is. Seller not responsible for any issues that may have come about while it was sitting. Was kept indoors for most of the past few years and has only been outdoors for a month or two.
Flow master true dual exhaust installed and engine was converted from single to dual exhaust.
Holley 2 barrel carb, aluminum radiator, new oil and fuel pump added after engine rebuild.
Body is straight, does not appear to have been in any accident. Body has surface rust on exterior. Interior sheet metal in great condition, floor pans good and no rust except for minor rust in the normal areas on the exterior, door bottoms and wheel wells. I have most of the exterior trim which was removed for some body work and new clips for the trim. All glass is present and original to the car. Trim is 90% complete and fender skirts are present but need to be installed.
Rewired entire car with a 22 circuit kit. Gas tank was replaced in 2015.
Pictures show vehicle leaning to passenger side, this is not a mechanical issue or damage. Lean is because I was in the middle of putting on a 2" suspension drop when I had my injuries, I have all parts required for dropping the drivers side in the trunk, springs, a arm bearings, etc. engine bay picture was when it was freshly done, does not look as pretty now but functional
Unfortunately, due to some injuries and an accident I can no longer work on the vehicle.
I am looking for cash but will only consider trades for an older Harley Davidson chopper type that runs well with a clean title (mechanically sound, bad paint and dings are ok), or a newer touring/bagger Harley. Electra Glide, Road King, Street Glide, etc.I will only consider the trade if you contact me before the first of is placed and it is a solid trade.
May look a bit ugly, but has a straight body and I don't see any rash damage. May be a door ding filled with bondo on the drivers side door.
Car located around Fresno, CA.buyer responsible for pickup and/or shipping charges. I can store it for up to a month if needed after purchase while shipping or pickup is arranged by buyer.
