Car description |

For sale is a 1993 Ford F350 Dually XLT Crew Cab with only 100,265 original miles. It has the bullet proof 7.3 IDI diesel V8 motor in excellent mechanical condition with a 5 speed manual gearbox. It is rear wheel drive.
I am the 3rd owner. I got this truck in January of this year after the previous owner of 19 years passed away. It has a clean title and a clean carfax. No accidents, non smoking.
I planned to make it really nice and keep it as a daily driver. I have done quite a bit to it since January, but I've also realized how impractical it is for me. I don't do construction work, and it doesn't fit into the parking garage where I live so I have to find street parking sometimes a quarter mile away.
Improvements / Modifications I've done since I've had it:
The truck works well and I wouldn't hesitate driving it any distance. I did a 700 mile trip with a trailer when I just got it January with no issues of any kind. The 5 inch stacks look awesome and give it a mean growl. The raptor liner looks really great and paired with the new lights it almost looks new. It gets lots of thumbs up on the road.
It starts right up every morning, even in the "snowmageddon" we had here in WA recently. It does have a block heater which I've tested and it works also.
Issues I haven't addressed yet:
Small oil leak. Pretty standard on these. I have not tried to diagnose the source of the leak yet.
Two of the doors had been replaced by previous owner so two door jams are not white.
One of those doors (rear passenger) lock mechanism needs to be adjusted or fixed. It doesn't unlock if you lock it. I've kept that door unlocked until I have time to address it.
Truck has 2 fuel tanks. One of the tanks fills up very slow. Might be a kink in the hose somewhere. It's on my list of things to check out but I've never really needed two fuel tanks.
AC needs a recharge. It hasn't been warm out so I haven't got to it yet. Heat works well.
The water temp gauge stopped working.
The rear fender marker lights as well as license plate lights don't light up. I checked the bulbs and they look fine. Might have a bad ground somewhere. I haven't got to that yet.
This is a 26 year old truck. Even with the low mileage it was used for light duty work throughout it's life. It is not a show truck/garage queen. It does look very nice with the new Raptor Liner paint job and new lights, but it does have imperfections and some wear and tear throughout.
If you have any questions or would like to come see it, please send me a message. If you'd like to have it shipped, I will assist with shipping any way I can.
