1969 Mustang MACH 1 SportsroofRaven Black on BlackRust free California CarSpent 49 years in California.Some minor surface rust on random areas where the paint is chipped. No bondo.Looks like some house paint overspray on the body. I have a clay kit for it.
FE powered Q-code car.Automatic, AC, Fold down.Solid FloorsSolid RailsSolid Torque boxesSolid TrunkDouble braced Shock TowersExternal oil cooler.I have not dropped the Trannyto see the scratch on the back,to identify the FE block further.Block is C6ME or C8ME, see pic.Block date code: 5F5Heads: C8AE-H W/14-16 bolt holes.Rebuilt Carb: C9AF-9510-UIntake numbers: C9ZE9425BIntake date code: 9C27Motor has been rebuilt, before I owned it, not sure of what changes were made regarding crank/cam/lifters/pistons.I have not measured the bore.Air cleaner is incorrect.Has headers.Deluxe Marti Report Included.Marti Report says Traction Loc, but rear wheels spin in opposite direction when tested.May have been blown/changed.It's a C6 Auto, drives,but possibly needs a rebuild.Haven't touched the brakes, but they stop the car.Haven't touched the front end components.Needs a power steering pump.Motor runs excellent!Local speed shop tuned it up.Lot's of new parts.Water pump rebuiltAlternator rebuiltNew engine harnessNew tranny linesNew Radiator and shroudNew pedal cable and carb linkageBrand new tires.I also have a bunch of parts, OEM and new/repro that go with the car.All AC components except compressor.New Moonskin headlinerNew sail panelsOEM rear seat side panels2 sets of door panels, originals and repops.2 sets of seats, original and set of 70 highbacks.New kick down rod.Misc Bolts and entire interior screw kit.Misc interior dash parts.New marker lights.Original dash has been coveredwith non AC plastic cover.Some lights work, some don't.It's turning 50 in June and I've described the condition as well as possible.Still learning things about it, the more time I spend with it, and what it's been through for the last 1/2 century. Looks like some kids sat on the roof at one point.I have no history other than the stories it tells, and the detailed Marti Report.
