Car description |

BODY:This 1928 Ford Tudor sedan has all original steel still wearing it's original paint!! No patches, plastic or paint to cover anything up. The inside of the body was blasted down to bare metal and a new Direct Sheetmetal floor added. The inside was then painted and lined with Dynamat foil-back insulation. There is a small bit of rust where the running board meets the fender on the passenger side, but that's it. No more than a couple of dents about as round as a quarter, but definitely not deep (noexaggeration on rust or dents). All new stainless steel nut & bolts were used for this build. To finish the body, all new wood and new "original style" top was installed.INTERIOR:All new safety glass, new aluminum windshield frame and new rubber & felt for the glass. Interior completed with Classic Gauges, Sony remote control stereo with mp3 player & Ipod connection, Ididit tilt column, Lokar shifter, Ultra Leather upholstery and rare cast aluminum door sills. An EZ wiring harness connects the electricity. (The BLACK, far more comfortable bucket seats, have replaced the RED ones as shown in the pix).CHASSIS:A new black powder-coated Pete & Jake's rolling chassis was used with their rear ladder-bars and coil-overs suspending a 9" Ford holding 3.00 gears, Vega style steering box, 4" dropped Superbell axle up front with 4-bar and 11" disc brakes. New aluminum radiator and Flowmaster exhaust.ENGINE: 1970 SBC block with 4 bolt mains, bored 30 over, roller-tip rockers, nice "lumpy" Comp Cam, and balanced. Edelbrock intake and carb, high torque gear reduction starter, TH350 trans with the correct stall converter. Also has two very hard to find items; 1) raised aluminum SBC water pump housing puts the fan where it should be, vintage Weiand finned aluminum "say why-end" fuelie timing cover. Car has been very dependable, always starts, never over-heats, is really comfortable and is ready to drive anywhere!!Any questions will be answered to the best of my ability.
