Turbo rebuild would likely make it pass smog.* Approx 15,000 on rebuilt transmission. The SVO features key modifications over the standard Mustang to help increase performance. The four-cylinder engine helped with weight distribution, due to the engine being installed perpendicular to, and behind, the front axle, thereby improving handling. The engine has fuel injection and intercooled turbocharger, power output is 175 horsepower. This car has Hurst shifter Borg Warner T5 close ratio transmission, 15:1 ratio power-assisted rack-and-pinion, limited slip, 3.45:1, 7.5" Traction-Lok axle, ventilated four-wheel-disc brakes, KONI suspension system featuring specially tuned adjustable front struts, rear shocks, five-lug, 16 × 7-inch aluminum wheels. Mustang sold separately, but add the low mileage motor for $700.
