Car description |

Up for sale is my '65 289 4 speed numbers matching fastback. Factory C code car. Project fastbacks are becoming harder and harder to come by, especially one with good bones. The second owner owned this car from the early 80's till 2018. He drove the car till the late 80's when it was parked. The car has been kept inside out of the weather since.
Mechanical: Original 289 turns over and should run with everything hooked back up, the top loader 4 speed transmission has been professionally rebuilt. Currently a later model 4 speed is in the car. Both are included in the sale.
Body: one repaint long ago, all in all a really solid unrestored car. The floors do have old patches and the rear trunk rails are about the back 12â€. Everything up front, subframe rails, rockers, door jams etc are really solid. Cowl looks nice as well.
Interior: Original and complete.
The car is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. The car is available to see and inspect any time before auction ends. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, with remainder due within 7 days, via cash, cleared check, money order or bank transfer. Bidding is a binding contract, please make sure you have the funds you bid, arrange inspections, viewing the car, check with your wife, pet or whomever else you need approval from before bidding.
Please call or text 843 360 9871 with any questions you may have. If you have 0 feedback, give me a call to discuss
