Car description |
---|
This is a real 69 R code 428CJ car with Factory AC and Tilt Steering Wheel. It was originally ordered by a dealer as a Demonstrator car with some interesting options. It has upgraded power rack and pinion steering, MSD ignition, Modern 3 point seat belts, Upgraded Wilwood 4 wheel power disc brakes, The motor has been gone through and is a "3 rib" .40 over 428CJ. It may not be the original motor. It has brand new Edelbrock heads, a mild hydraulic cam and an F427 aluminum intake. It also has an MSD distributor, Coil and MSD6AL control Box. It has Comp Cams EZ EFI which is tucked under the shaker just like 4160 Holley carb. The transmission is a rebuilt "correct" C6 and the rear end is a 3.25"N case" 31 spline traction-loc posi. The paint is New Lime (code 25) and is an 9/10 with Some chips visible by close inspection. The Body is super straight. Doors and hood close nicely. The bottom of the car is extremely well detailed. The interior is mostly new and is a 9 /10. The exhaust is Hooker Super Comp ceramic coated headers connected to a Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust. The tires are new. The Magnum 500's are in aged /good condition with some surface corrosion. This was an 8 year project and is a great driver, not a show car garage queen. There are a few things that are still not completed or need attention. These things are minor and include: finishing the AC lines, The tilt steering column only works manually. This car looks drives and sounds fantastic. The upgraded items can easily be removed and replaced with OEM parts. Anyone who knows what the are looking at can see the money and time in this car. I encourage anyone interested to come look at the car. I have been around these cars since they came out. You will be hard pressed to find one with a straighter body. I have a new Marti Report verifying this is a one of one car and that does not include the rare Tilt Steering wheel, Full tinted glass, visibility group and Front Bumper Guards. The photos show the level of quality on this car. There were only two cars with the 428 Ram Air and Automatic, with AC, The factory tilt wheel is very rare. The factory New Lime color with blackout hood is original color. This is not a $100K car but not far from it. The underside of the car and under hood is very nicely detailed. Please call and come take a look.Thefactory big block cars are getting harder to find. This was always my dream car. I used to like working on cars like this but the years have taken their toll. I have only had the car a short time and have installed the items that I could. I believe this to be a great deal at very reasonable reserve.Call 602 me anytime 501 with questions 1513. Thank you for lookin, Don

I am getting several repeat questions on the car This has the dash with the factory tach. The tach is not functioning. This car originally did not have thetach in the dash. The rack and pinion is power assisted. The tilt column is tilt up or dow, not slide away. The radio is a working am/fm. Not the 8 track.I have been asked what it will take the car. I am looking for $53K which is a great deal on the car.
