1976 FORD F-250 LONGBED 4X4. EX FIRE SERVICE/BRUSH TRUCK. ONLY 56. 00 ORIGINAL MILES ATTENTION: All you Fire Department collectors. this is the one you for you!A really cool 1976 Ford F250 longbed 4x4 with only 56. 00 original miles. Used to belong to the Marinwood community service fire deptartment. a community just north of San Francisco in the city of San Rafael. servicing Marinwood. and Lucas Valley. Lucas valley is home to "Star Wars" George Lucas's "Sky Walker Ranch". They have taken very good care of this hard to find gem! Runs Excellent. service vehicles are meticulously maintained 5. 9 liter 360 cubic in. V856. 00 original miles4 wheel drive. Dana 60 rear. 44 front4 speed manual transmissionNew Goodyear Rangler Duratrac tires. and new 16 in. wheelsMore to come tommarow!!! LOL!Like I sayed earlier. this truck was meticulously maintained by the fire department. nbsp; it runs Excellent !!! Starts up very easy in the morning with no effort like a new truck. In the morning the idle stays in warm up mode for a minute or so. then just pump the peddle once and it lowers down. just like it was new! The truck runs great. just like a 56. 00 mile vehicle should. very tight and solid. The 4 speed transmission shifts effortlessly. the clutch feels great. may be newer? the 4 wheel drive works fine. hubs turn with a smooth click I believe it has a np205 transfer case. but not sure. brakes feel great. stops well. California Truck. built in San Jose. The body is very straight as you can see. clean title. no signs of accidents that I can see. Paint I believe is original. looks good still very shinny. but has many scratches here and there. Very solid body. virtually rust free. nbsp; just some rust on drivers side floor pan area. but not major. Can be left alone or easily fixed later. Wood in bed is old. but is pretty easy to replace. Truck has new Goodyear Rangler Duratec tires. Lt/235/85R16. with brand new 16 inch chrome wheels. they look awesome!Interior looks great. very clean! seat is in excellent shape. no rips or tears. all doors open and close fine. all locks work. windows roll up and down. drivers window should only rolled half way. sometimes glass come off bracket. heater works. All original light work. some emergency lights too. but some need reconnecting. gauges all work except the temp gauge. speedometer and miles work. original Philco radio too!All in all this is a great collector truck that can be used and driven whenever you want. I get so many looks every time I drive her. The truck runs. looks. and drives great. but is not perfect. keep in mind its a 1976 that has been well taken care of.
