Car description |

I am selling my personal muscle car, this beautiful, original and fully restored Mustang 428 (numbers matching) R-code. Zero rust, and the restoration was done to bring the vehicle to nearly perfect factory condition, with detail factory markings, parts, overspray, you name it. The Polyglass tires in the pics go with the car, I however have BFGs mounted for better road manners for the few times I get to enjoy it. The BFGs have approx. 500 miles on it. This car runs fantastic, super strong, sounds great, shifts great, and doesn't miss a beat. The transmission has been professionally rebuilt to be bulletproof and shifts firmly, with no slip, really letting you feel the power of the 428 cobra. Numbers matching. Dark Ivy green is the color, and is the original color. This is an original California car and was restored with all correct emission components that existed only on California cars. The vehicle has never been wrecked or sustained body damage. Stainless exhaust system, subdued but definitely let's you know the big block is in there when you want it to. New shocksall around.
I have owned this car for 3 years, and I purchased it from a private collector in Canada, who held it in his personal museum collection. A few maintenance parts were replaced over the last 3 years include the passenger lower control arm, power steering ram, and starter. I keep all removed parts in case a future owner wants to pursue concourse certification.
The paint is beautiful, everything works, including the A/C. As a factory restore it is the original A/C system, and I have 20lb bottle (90% full) of R-12 refrigerant that will go with it. All gauges, clock, radio, etc work.
I looked long and hard to find this car years ago, it was my dream car, and it will not disappoint. My circumstances are causing me to sell it, you can bid with confidence that it is as purported by me. This your chance to own a true representation of this classic muscle car in the form which changed the car industry. Restoration photo book, Marti report, and sales documentation will accompany the car.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through Ebay or via text @ 770-845-3134.
