Car description |
---|
Australian built 1934 Ford Roadster.
Very rare. This car is right hand drive with the original flathead V8 (with aluminum heads), original steel body and running boards. It has a rumble seat, what is believed to be the original top, 1 repaint in the late 60's/early 70's, modern battery with disconnect switch and fuel pump, factory suicide doors, gorgeous bias-ply wide whitewalls, rear mounted spare, cowl lights, etc..
Some Australian cars were built off Canadian parts depending on the year & model. This car reflects that. The frame rail stamping begins with a "C", and the rare original aluminum heads are stamped "made in Canada".
It is thought to have been imported to the US in the 1960's with no fenders, so a set of reproduction fenders were put on at some point- probably in the late 60's/70's when it was painted with a fresh coat of the original color lacquer.
This is a true, rare collector.
Has a clean Texas title, located in Southern California. I also recently acquired 2 sets of 1934 California license plates.
$75k.
OPEN TO OFFERS.
I may consider partial tradeswith cash for the right car/truck.
Interested in anything specialty; tri-5 convertible, newer diesel crewcab 4WD truck, pre-war kustom, traditional show car, high end resto-mod, Zephyr, etc..Send a message if you have a trade offer. MUST include photos.1964F429@Gmail.com
