Car description

1933 ford roadster titled as 33 ford roadster clean and clearBody was put together 40+ years ago it was built out two roadsters one was wrecked the other was a cut up drag car the body was all gas welded together the welds are still there car has no filler it does have some old lead the doors open and close as should I put bear claw latches in it but it comes with the originals the drivers door bottom has rust it will need a patch or leave as is the car is straight and with some smoothing of the welds it could be a super nice painted car I liked it the way it was and felt the body told a story. The doors have most the original wood in them I made steel door inner skins and bolted them over it also has ww2 cock pit locks for safety.
The frame has been restored from front to back no rust it was shot with satin black as was all components it has a stock rebuilt 33 rear and front with 1940 ford brakes drums and spindles. All Brakes are new it has a bob drake mandral bent brake kit and working e brake.
I built this car with a 36 lb flathead and drive it like that for awhile since then I have put a 1946 flathead Cadillac that was a old bonneville race motor it was raced in 1951 rebuilt then never touched again it has a harmons and Collins regrind 3/4 race cam the block was ported and relieved it's bored .030 over it has cast heads that were milled .070 I had them surfaced and there ready to go it has chromed valley pans, generator, water necks and road draft tube. Distributor is a Mallory with tach drive unit I have all the paper work from Mallory for the dizzy from 1950 also from Harmon's and Collins on the cam form 1950. Schaefer aluminum fly wheel and adapter to early ford trans the Motor is fresh and besides bolting heads down and plumbing is ready to fire. The intake and headers were made back in 50 as well and very nicely built. The transmission is a 1937 Lincoln zypher side load top shift with new zypher gears out of a 1940.
Headlights are real edmunds and jones type 20 tail lamp is a electroline car has near new 7.50 16 rear tires and 6.00 fronts on 35 wires with spun aero discs the radiator has been recored.
This is a project but won't take much to get back going. I'm including a stock fire wall and cowl sides of the buyer wanted to put a stock ford motor in I shortened the torque tube and moved the trans back 5 inches to accommodate the cad motor but nothing is altered so much that it couldn't be took back stock.I hate to sale but other things have come up NO TRADES I will not separate and I know what each part will sale for if it was split up so please no low ball bids..This is for sale locally so if sales first I'll remove thanks 785-39three-16ninenine$500 deposits at end of auction bank wire for rest I can store for as long as buyer needs I will prepare car for transportation it will be sealed up and parts packaged nicely
