1965 ford falcon ranchero. i purchased from original owners family a few years ago. this is a two year model of the ranchero, 1964,1965. this truck is as straight and rust free as you can find. car has always been garage kept and always been in the south, thus no rust. solid everywhere underneath.all gauges and dash lights work, as well as the original am radio and original air conditioning. i also have the original ford owners card and owners booklet. this car gets compliments every time out.the ranchero was involved in a parking lot fender bender in the late 80's, it only affected the passenger side tail light. it has some signs of body filler in that spot only. at this time the car was repainted the original wimbeldon white and the green striping was added. at this same time, the interior was redone and appears very presentable, even today.the car was represented as having the original miles when sold to me and everything about her would confirm that. the engine cranks easily and purrs like an original 289 should. it has the cruise-o-matic transmission. the doors shut with the touch of one finger, no sagging or binding. it is truly a time capsule that can be left as is and driven anytime, anywhere, or would be a good candidate to restore to show room condition, if desired. i prefer it like it is, as i drive it to work a couple of days a week and do not have to worry about someone scratching an expensive paint job. this car is, as the old saying goes, if you drive it, you will buy it, kind of car. it is that simple. email with any questions and i will try to respond in a timely manner.
