Fantastic barn find here in rural Michigan!
1965 Ford Galaxy with the engine in good running order and what appears to be the original paint, chrome, and interior in very serviceable order. You can see the one tear on the driver's side, but the rest of the seating actually quite nice, the backseat appearing to have very little use and all the small chrome buttons still retaining intact as shown. The carpet is grubby and probably needs replaced. The passenger rear handle needs replaced as well.
I am not an expert on cars by any stretch of the imagination. We put some gas in and hooked it up to a good battery and it fired right up. Brakes will need replaced before driving [which I can have my mechanic do if you like].
There is some scattered rust, but nothing overly significant. On the whole, this thing is ready to be someone's winter project, but in much, much better state than most of the fresh ones I've seen come to the market. The body is solid, it runs, most of the interior is not only salvageable, but in a very nice state. You could easily just do the brakes, new battery, and drive it while you get ready to give it the full overhaul.
Sleek, original black. Very desirable.
Please ask any / all questions and I'll do my best to answer. No reasonable offer refused. I'd like to get this gone before the snow really flies. Happy to help arrange transportation, etc.,
Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of the auction's end.
