Car description

This 1965 Ford F100 short wheel base Ranger is the perfect truck to restore. Being a first year Ranger makes it even cooler! It is very solid and has minimal rust. It has been converted to power disc brakes up front already. It has a 300 I6 that was rebuilt about 4500 miles ago. It has a newer radiator as well. It has a manual 3 speed with the fairly rare overdrive. At this time the overdrive works when it wants to as we don't drive the truck that often. The more often it is driven the better it works. This will make sense to those that know the setup or that have it. The truck rides on a set of steel wheels and 50 Ford caps with 1" white walls. The tires have good tread and hold air properly but are showing age and some cracking. The truck isn't in daily driver status yet in my opinion, but is a good start if you intend to keep going in the restoration direction. We haven't gone any further with it as I intended to street rod the truck and thought I would offer it up first to a restorer with it being a fairly rare truck to come by as a first year Ranger. The body and trim along with how solid the truck is will make for a good candidate regardless of your taste. Anyone is welcome to come and view the vehicle during the auction. We also welcome any third party inspections on your behalf. Also, if you're the type of person that needs to see, touch and smell it before purchase... we will be happy to pick you up at BNA and drop you back off so you can have the peace of mind in what you are purchasing. This auction will run at NO RESERVE. However, feel free to make offers if you feel inclined as our trucks don't typically last long. If any additional pictures or information is needed feel free to call Brian at 615-207-6279.
