Description
Frame off restoration started. Frame was sand blasted and coated with chassis saver. All moving suspension parts are new. Rear axle sand blasted all bearings and seals are new. All brake components are new. Power rack and pinion steering new.Body has new rocker panels, new quarter panels, new metal floor as needed. Spare tire well has been fiberglass reinforced.
New gas tank and new wind shield (glass is still in the shipping box), I also have the curved rear glass, but it is not new. All other glass is flat and easily replaced (I have old glass for a template). I have most of the small used parts taken off for sand blasting.
Engine is a 1958 Mercury 383, (research this engine) it was in its short lived life a power house, setting records in all types of racing events. Professionally rebuilt at a shop that knows these engines. Rebuilt C-6 transmission with shiftier.
