This one was built with a 351 Cleveland engine. with a 4 BBL and the high performance heads (see pictures of heads and numbers). Title shows original mileage. Bought from a private party in Pennsylvania in approx. October of 1995 (with 26. 85 miles) and it was pretty much just as it is now (Paint. Body. Interior. etc). The current owner has never had an accident with the car. Equipped includingAluminum wheels. Heater. Auto Transmission. Power steering. Power brakes. Am-Fm radio. Cassette player and 2 sets of keysThe following codes were researched by us (see picture of plate). Buyers are required to do their own verification before purchasing. M code on vin = 351- 4VColor M = Wimbledon WhiteTrim 2E = Vermillion cloth and vinylAxle 6 = 3. 00Trans U = automaticDSO 72= San JosePaint - The finish had been freshened up with new paint prior to this owner. It is a smooth and shiny professional repaint with a few imperfections. but it has held up very well. Repainted with thorough attention to detail . Paint matches very well on all panels. Roof and upper quarter panel on the left side (between the left rear window and rear window) has a few spots where is has slightly bubbled. Minor nicks on the front of the hood. (See pictures) There is a slight paint crack on the left fender just in front of the left front tire and a couple other nicks you will see( in the pictures) on the door back edge area. You may also notice a little rain drizzle in the pictures ( right before we got it back inside)Body- Straight and correct much as she would have been new. I didn't see any dents or dimples that appear incorrect. The gaps all look fairly uniform. Being extremely critical. the hood could be adjusted a little bit to the left. The hood locks are not functioning at this time. In going over the car with a paint gauge. it would appear to be all steel and correct with some minor repairs in some of the door corners and wheel lip areas that are commonly needed. Bright work- All seems to be secured properly and in very nice condition with very little wear showing. The stainless around the window areas are nicely polished with a few light scratches and a little indentation. (See pictures). Front and rear bumpers show no damage. with fairly newer chrome that shows barely any wear at all. (Close look at pictures you will notice light rain drops. )Glass- Glass over all is in very nice condition with very little age showing. Side glass doesn't have any noticeable (typical ) scratches from the windows rolling up and down. All windows except the windshield do have the "carlite" emblem on them and the windshield is a LOF (Libby Owens Ford). Interior- The interior is cloth with vinyl. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that the gauges and dash have all held up very well. You will see a piece of Velcro on the right passenger floor area in picture. This was for the fire extinguisher which the owner removed when not in a car show( required at most shows). Carpet is older but has not lost color thought they do tend to fade typically more near the rear window. The headliner and stitching is not torn thought it does have a wrinkle in the rear area typically do to the sun. The locking mechanism for the fold down seat does work correctly but the knob is partially broken. The sun visors are good and solid. Trunk- appears neat and has been painted. Does have a slight dampness (Car had been recently washed). Trunk may need an adjustment or a seal replaced but the water leak is very minimal. The repainted trunk is gray with nice matching mat and spare. The parts that you do see in the pictures do come with the car. The trophies are to show that it has won at car shows ( The trophys don't go with the sale). Tires and wheels- Tires are performer GT radials in the rears. and the fronts are performance radials GT. Fronts are 235- 60- 15's. The rears are 255- 60 -15's. The wheels are called Progressive wheels and they are a five spoke design matching all the way around. They have a nice satin finish that does show some wear and spotting which may or may not be removed with cleaner. Wheels are a locking style with wrench. The tire tread depth is as follows. Right rear in the area of 6/ 32 and the left rear having 9/32 and both fronts having about 8/32 on them. Do not see any age cracks around the outside of the tires. Also do not notice any type of curb damage on any tires or wheels. Engine- Transmission- Looking at the engine compartment area. it appears mostly as it was designed when it was new. The windshield washers are not connected which is common on show cars. (Look closely at the photos for your own evaluation). You will notice it was dressed up with an colored distributor cap. plug wires. and a Duralast gold battery. Also installed was a chrome air cleaner and possibly a carburetor change (items located in trunk). The new owner could stick with the old school performance look or easily take it back to stock original. Underside and chassis - The bottom side has been left very natural and has not been painted or rust proofed in resent years. It's condition is very impressive. It appears to be nice and solid and we do not see any rust perforation. The front suspension stabilizer links were not to recently replaced and the inspection cover for the converter is missing. Noticed some oil seeping out of the power steering. The back of the transmission appears to be nice and dry. The rear end does have a slight dampness to it. Dual exhaust complete from front to back. Note- we did not try the parking brake thought it looks all hooked up. Nobody knows the last time it has been used. so I cant say for sure if it is in working order. Mechanical -. Tail light and brake lights work. left and right rears blinkers work and back up lights and markers work. High beams work and all low beams work including all front markers. Marker light on the right front needs fixed. The clock. horn. and windshield washers are not working. The owner explained that the oil has always been changed yearly and any needed repairs performed. lights switches work. windshield wipers work on low and high beam. Notice when idling the oil gauge is about ¾ toward high showing a slight charging. The temperature is in the middle of the operation area. Does appear to have all fan speeds working correctly and the cold to warm temp lever working correctly. (Little sticky) Working when directed in the defrost area as it should. Am/FM radio both work. including the cassette tape. Clock is not working which most don't. Lever appears to be working for floor vents. (The current owner did change the carburetor)Test drive- Car accelerated and decelerated fine. The engine seems to operating properly. There is an exhaust leak from the left bank area. Powering steering appears to work correctly. Upon stopping. I did not notice any pulsation or pulling of the brakes. The transmission and drive train seems to be operating as it was designed. Owner stated they always used 92 octane and above.
