Car description

Last time listed here high bid was $14,600, I'm starting off the auction at $14,995 with NO RESERVE this time!
I will not accept one penny less so don't bother asking!
The last auction this car had a 19k reserve, the market did not allow for it so I lowered it to 17k. I know it's not the best time to be selling a car. Whoever buys it at this price is stealing it! The car needs a little TLC and odds and ends but you can get in and drive it right now without an issue. I just don't have the time or space.
Please contact me for a BUY IT NOW price, but it obviously has to be more than the opening bid! NO games, no tire kickers or picture & video collectors that surf the internet as a hobby! This is the last time it's being offered here, it is listed on other venues as well so it may disappear without notice.
This was a recent barn find estate sale from my friend's father's collection. A very rare 1967 Ford Ranchero/Fairlane 500. a very strong and impressive HP 390 engine out of a 1968 Mercury Cyclone (FE block). The top loader 4sp makes this car even more enjoyable to drive, but the 9 inch posi rear puts the icing on the cake when you punch it because this car has balls! (unknown ratio, most likely mid 3's) Was told by previous owner car was restored in the mid 90's and has been sitting since the late 90's. Spend several months going through the car after its long nap, a recent tune up was performed, some new gaskets installed, Edlebrock carb was replaced, as well as fuel pump, fuel tank & sending unit. Exhaust is still like new with a crossover pipe and is not loud, tires are like new as well. Paint is shiny and appears to be a single stage urethane with some minor chips and scratches. (still shows well). Interior is in excellent shape with only one minor tear in driver side seat (easy repair). The mileage showing is 67,541 but obviously the engine was replaced so I'm not sure of true mileage on engine, but it's very tight still and does not smoke. Mileage may go up since the car is still being driven occasionally on nice days. From what I am told it wasn't driven much after the restoration and from what I found did confirm that. The inside of the bed is excellent, with no rust holes. The body is very solid as well. You're not going to get into a "turn key", "restored", big block, 4 Speed car cheaper than this! This car is very fun to drive, and very fast! I would love to keep it, but I unfortunately have no place to store it with two other current restorations occupying my garage. Though it is not perfect, it certainly would make a excellent driver or even a great car for weekend shows. Clear title (in my name) in hand. Car will be advertised in other venues as well. Priced below market value. Serious buyers only please!
$500 Pay Pal deposit due within 48 hours of close of auction.
Though the shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility, I can recomend a reputable & reasonable transporter I have used in the past.
Vehicle must be removed within two weeks of end of auction unless prior arrangements are made. Additional photos and walk around Video available upon request. Please see below for recent video uploaded to YouTube for a complete walk around of the car.
