*THIS 1990 FORD BRONCO II "XL" IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE BY SHERMAN AUTO SALES, INC. OUR COMPANY IS A FULLY LICENSED 72 YEAR OLD FAMILY OWNED USED CAR DEALERSHIP IN FENTON, MO. WE ARE ONE OF THE OLDEST USED CAR DEALERSHIPS IN MISSOURI, THAT IS STILL OWNED BY THE ORIGINAL FAMILY. MY NAME IS MARK SHERMAN, PRES. AND OWNER. *THIS BRONCO II IS TRULY AN ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. IT HAS BEEN ADULT OWNED AND CARED FOR. IT IS AN AMAZING VEHICLE FOR 28 YEARS OLD. IT STILL HAS THE ASSEMBLY NUMBER MARKINGS ON THE FRAME.
*THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS FROM ALABAMA. WE WERE FORTUNATE TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT WAS TAKING THIS VEHICLE IN TRADE. IT WAS TRANSPORTED BY A TRANSPORT TRUCK TO ST. LOUIS, MO.
*MY COMPANY HAS DONE VERY LITTLE TO THIS TRUCK. THE PICTURES ALL HAVE ZOOM OPTION AND ENLARGEMENT.
*THE TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL.
*I HAD THE VEHICLE LOOKED OVER BY A MECHANIC THAT IS A TRUE FORD PERSON AND HE WAS VERY IMPRESSED ABOUT THE MECHANICAL AND ORIGINAL CONDITION.
*EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD, INCLUDING THE HOOD PAD SHOWS NICELY. THIS HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED.
*THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL 2-STAGE PAINT. IT LOOKS ORIGINAL, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE SPOT ON THE UPPER SECTION OF THE REAR TAILGATE.
*THE PAINT ON THE HOOD AND ROOF, DOES SHOW SOME MINOR LOSS OF CLEAR COAT. THIS WILL SHOW AS A LIGHT WHITE SHADOW. THE MECHANIC DID RUN A BUFFER OVER THE HOOD ONLY, SO THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES. THE OTHER SECTIONS WOULD BUFF OUT NICELY.
*THERE ARE SMALL SECTIONS OF THE COLOR BODY STRIPING WHERE THEY HAVE COME OFF. I BELIEVE AND WAS TOLD THIS WAS A FACTORY STRIPE OPTION. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.
*THE HOOD SHOWS VERY MINOR HAIL, THAT IN NO WAY TAKES AWAY FROM THE TRUCK.
*I HAVE A BILL FROM THIS SHOP THAT WAS FOR $306.97 FOR MISC. SERVICE. THIS INCLUDED GREASE, OIL, AND FILTER, THROTTLE BODY WAS CLEANED, MINOR ADJUSTMENT ON REAR TAILGATE ADJUSTER, & OTHER SMALL MINOR ITEMS, INCLUDING BUFFING THE HOOD. I HAVE THIS TICKET WITH THE VEHICLE.
*I HAVE DRIVEN THIS TRUCK APPROX 75 MILES AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES AS A LOW MILEAGE VEHICLE WOULD BE.
*I DID NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE CLEANED OR DETAILED. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL. THERE WAS A DASH COVER, THAT WAS PLACED IN THE REAR CARGO COMPARTMENT.
*THERE IS ONE SMALL HOLE ON THE SIDE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT FROM THE HANDLE. (THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES).
*THE ORIGINAL OWNER DID HAVE THE CENTER ARMREST REMOVED AS THE ARM WAS BROKEN. HE HAD AN ALUMINUM PLATE MADE TO FIT THE OPENING AND NOW APPEARS LIKE IT CAME THAT WAY. I DO HAVE THE ARMREST IN A BOX.
*THE TIRES ARE ALL MATCHED GOODYEAR WRANGLERS THAT ARE AS CLOSE TO NEW AS POSSIBLE. THE ORIGINAL SPARE IS STILL COVERED AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED.
*THE ORIGINAL FACTORY ALUMINUM WHEELS SHOWS SOME LIGHT STAINING FROM PREVIOUS CLEANERS THAT WERE USED. THIS I FEEL COULD DEFINITELY BE CLEANED AND RE-POLISHED BY AN ALLOY WHEEL SERVICE. THE CENTERS ON THE PLASTIC CAPS ALSO SHOW SOME PAINT LOSS.
*THE SPARE TIRE COVER DOES HAVE A SMALL TEAR AT THE TOP THAT HAS BEEN COVERED WITH A SQUARE OF BLACK TAPE.
*THE TAIL PIPE ON THE BACK EDGE AT THE CURVE HAS A FEW RUST SPOTS. THIS END SECTION WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE REST OF THE EXHAUST LOOKS VERY GOOD. (SHOWN IN LAST PICTURE).
*THE WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP DID NOT WORK.
*I PERSONALLY NOTICED ONE SMALL SPOT ON THE HEADLINER BY THE FRONT DRIVERS CORNER, THAT APPEARS AT ONE TIME THAT THE WINDSHIELD MIGHT HAVE HAD A SLIGHT LEAK. THE MOLDING ON THE WINDSHIELD AT THAT AREA, ALSO HAS A THIN EDGE OF SILICONE. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CORNER MAY NEED TO BE RE-SEALED. I FELT THIS NEEDED TO BE MENTIONED.
*THE EXTERIOR RUBBER WINDOW MOLDING ON THE LARGE SIDE GLASS ARE OK, BUT DO SHOW AGING AND DRYNESS.
