You are viewing an original Henry Ford 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe. This is a true "A-V8" that runs and drives great. When you just couldn't give up your favorite Ford, you took it to your local mechanic and had in put all current chassis components. This car has a dropped 1932 front axle assembly including axle, spindles and wishbone connected in the rear to a 32 K-member. This was all the changing necessary to install the flathead. This car has the column 1948 59AB stock engine, side-shift transmission, 48 brake assemblies and 16" wheels. The gauge cluster is a early Stewart Warner hotrod with winged, curved glass SW gauges. The gas tank is in the rear making the rumbleseat somewhat useless. The interior wild with a leather type "Rose" pattern and black tuck and roll. The car has an original 32 radiator and shell assembly. The pinstripping is from the 50's. My guess is when the car was rebuilt in 48, it stayed that way until the 60's and then the grille and tire size was changed. This is a true survivor barn find.
