Awesome period correct driver . I purchased this car a few months ago, but due to work change, I'm losing my garage space. This 2 door hardtop Fairlane is really solid, it looks great with the metallic black roof painted and the rest of the car is flat black. 4 wheel disc brakes, 9" ford with new 3.00 gears, 4 Speed tranny with Hurst shifter. Original great looking interior, the headliner is new but needs tucked in a little better at the edges, The Engine is a gem....FE block 410 Mercury engine with holley carb and edelbrock intake. New Aluminum readitor. The car runs cool, it is a torque monster. It pulls the hills here in the Rocky Mountains with no effort ! Sounds great with newer dual exhaust and mufflers. The vent glass shows some edge aging, and the drivers side door glass has a crack. Underside looks awesome, I can not believe this thing is a 1955. Uncut dash, has original radio, but there is an amp in the trunk and a Kenwood radio in the glovebox, and all new speakers. Nice carpet, very fun and comfortable to drive. Manual Steerin, but not a big inconvenience, it tracks and steers fine. two pumps and it starts right up, the electric choke functions great. Runs, drive, stops, steers, ready to drive away. I really don't want to sell it but the indoor storage up here in the Mountains is scarce and a bit expensive. The car is located in Evergreen Colorado, just west of Denver
