1966 mustang coupe 289 3 speed 9” rear-end No Reserve !!

I have had this car for about 6 years and bought it from a friend of mine back then. He was the second owner on the car. He had told me the the 289 motor in this car was a Shelby motor. But I have never had the chance to check the numbers on the block. It would really be a bonus if the numbers where a Shelby, So The is no guarantee that it is. The whole suspension on this car came off a 68 cougar and he has it set up as a Gasser car, with a 3 speed and the 9 inch rear end. The carburetor on this car is a manual 75, And would run better with a carburetor that had an electric choke. I always have to Prime the carburetor to get it running. The car had a paint job a few years ago, And the body shop didn't paint it the blue i wanted so i had it in with the body shop. I lost interest in the car after that. So now its here being sold.the car has new quarter panels and outer wheel well, the car is fully undercoated with new front fenders . the car has new door handles and all Led lights, new front windshield . all new tinted window, all new moldings around the windows, And drip rails . this car has the classic bench seat that everyone loves. it has disk brakes in the fron, has a new front Grill . Has new front and rear bumpers. It is a 3 speed . the car needs a new headliner. Has new carpe, and the car needs an alignment, it is leaking from the control valve I have the rebuilt kit for that and will go with the car also. any or all parts that i have for this car will go with the car so they will be in the trunk. including the original door panels. it has brand new tires on the car also. less then 25 miles on them.PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I AM LISTING THIS CAR AS A PROJECT CAR!
