You are looking at a real California Cruiser that is daily driven! This 1964 Ford F-100 Long bed Pick Up Truck has the right "Unmolested Original Look" The body is straight and solid with a older Black re-paint job, originally a black and and red truck. It starts, drives and stops extremely well. It has a 223 Inline 6 engine with 20k miles on rebuild, recently tuned up with a Distributor cap/ rotor, spark plugs, and wires. Hi-flow Water pump, Re-manufactured Radiator and flushed fluids keeps this truck cool. Brand new Carter YFA Carb with chrome mushroom air cleaner. Flushed fuel tank new fuel lines and fuel pump. The I6 has a single glasspack exhaust that exits out the side of bed and sounds great. The "Three on the tree" Manual Transmission shifts well with gear selection on the column. New 12v Battery, New Alternator, and wiring.
The Drum brakes in the front and rear were rebuilt with new hardware shoes and drums, bled and adjusted. New master cylinder... This Ford stops on a dime. It rides on 15" Red Steel Rims and 235 R15 Coker Fat White Wall tires and Stainless Ford Caps. De-Arched Leaf springs in the rear and front suspension gives this truck a lower stance. Looks like a old truck drives like a old pick-up,that said it easily goes straight down the road. Very nice grill, painted front and rear bumper are good driver condition. Heavy Duty tow hitch for trailer hauling.
The interior is very comfortable with solid floors covered with black carpet mats. Very nice Two-tone Serape Blanket covers the stock Bench Sea, Seat belts and original arm rest - no headliner. Original AM Radio is in the uncut dash but dosn't work at this time, maybe fuse? Gauges Cluster functions Speedometer, fuel, volts, oil pressure, temp. Working Wipers, Lights, and Turn signals. All of the original Ford safety flat glass, windshield, and back window are crack free. Two tiny chips in the windshield are out of drivers view. All windows roll down freely. The Dash is still painted the original red and matches the rest of the trim on the truck. Very Solid bed with functioning tailgate and side toolbox. Signs of it previous life as a work truck still shows hear and there with a quarter sized rust hole by the tool box on the passenger side (the only visible rust) some small chips and dents... that said it shows "Very Well" Overall just a solid old truck, See pics!!!
In a nut shell this is a one of a kind classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality truck rather a original truck that has been loved and used its whole life as a fun truck, ready for someone to just enjoy as a nice driver or take it to shows not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool truck. Any and every-time I drive this truck I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in!
