Car description |

Up for auction is a 1933 Ford Roadster. This car belonged to my dad who passed away this year so I will do my best in providing info.
The body is a Downs Industries fiberglass body. It has suicide doors that open and close with ease and do not sag. The fenders, running boards, hood and hood sides are all steel. Everything fits nicely. The top is a lift off top.
It has a real DUVAL brass windshield. The grill is a real Dan Fink grill. The wire wheels are Vintique 15" in the front and 17" in the rear. Tires are in great condition.
The interior has the feel of an airplane cockpit. There are real vintage aircraft gauges along with new automotive gauges. The GM tilt steering column is topped with a 3 spoke aged aluminum steering wheel. The seats are leather covered seats by Tea's Design.
The 383 c.i. Motor was completely rebuilt and has less than 2,000 miles on it since the rebuild. It is cooled by a large Griffin radiator and a high flow water pump. The trans I believe is a 700R4. It has a Lokar shifter.
The car sits on a Downs Industries chassis and is equipped with a Heidt's IFS system up front consisting of stainless steel tubular A-Arms with coil overs and a Currie Enterprises Ford 9" satin finished rear end with a 3.55 posi and coil overs.
The car has no odometer.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
