1950 Ford Panel TruckIt was once an Ambulance from 1951-1957 and used to be a 4-door. It is now back to original 2-door body but still has the side windows. THIS IS A PROJECT But a lot of things have been done. it just needs to be finished. The following has been done:Front end has disc brake conversion with 5 on 5 1/2 in. bolt patternThe front and rear leaf springs are posie super sliderThe rear end is a Ford 9 in. out of a '68 F150 with all new brakes and new axle bearings (Third member has not been gone through)Has dual master cylinder with new brake hoses and brake lines (old brake lines on the rear end only)Brake system still needs to be bledGas tank is from a '69 A100 Dodge Van. the fuel lines have been ran from tank to engine compartmentThe roof. fire wall and front floor area are covered with DynamatI have a 302 engine with the C4 transmission out of a 1978 Mercury Monarch (odometer read 140k miles) but is not in the Panel truck. I did drive the Mercury. but I don't know its history. Also have some new parts for the engine: HEI Distributor. Headers. Rear Sump Oil Pan. Gasket Kit. One-wire alternator. Lokar Floor Shifter. 4 barrel Edlebrock (not new)I have all of the brackets and misc parts from the engine and also have Mark IV air conditioning under dash unitI have the side glass tempered cut but not installedI have a drive shaft out of the MercuryI have the original radiatorI have the title and is currently non-opperationalIt is a really neat vehicle and is very close to being on the road.
