1966 Ford Mustang Selling a beautifully restored 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. This is a matching numbers car with original engine. trans. and factory paint color. Very rare Tahoe-Turquoise metallic paint code car that looks absolutely stunning in person. This Mustang was built in San Jose. California and it still has the original black/gold 60’s license plate. Everything has been gone through cosmetically in the last couple years including new paint. full pony interior. and chrome trim. The car looks and drives excellent and can be used as a daily driver as is. It’s very reliable and has been upgraded with several mods. Gets the fuel economy of an inline 6 but sounds and feels like there’s a v8 under the hood. Clean CA title in hand with current registration until May 2015. The original 200ci engine and C-4 automatic transmission were rebuilt in 2005 and have roughly 40k miles since the rebuild. Engine has a performance header with dual exhaust/mufflers and GT tips. Hipo 2brl electric choke carb. and Pertronix ignition. Engine runs perfect and transmission shifts smooth into all 3 gears. These early Ford inline 6 engines are extremely reliable and were built to run forever with light maintenance. The car has new power disc brakes and suspension feels nice and tight at any speed. Interior is very clean. everything was replaced about a year ago including; carpet. pony seats. pony door panels. center console. dash pad. headliner. sun visors. glove box. GT steering wheel. custom light-up running horse door sill plates. and misc interior trim. The car has a killer audio system that sounds amazing. The paint looks almost flawless on this pony and you can tell it was block sanded thoroughly before re-spraying it. All original rust-free body panels and it has never been in an accident. Everything lines up great and there’s perfect spacing between hood. trunk. doors. and fenders. Rear quarters have never been cut or repaired which is very common for Mustangs of this era. and none of the body panels have ever been replaced. This is a true virgin body. rust-free.
