For sale is a 1953 Ford F250 50th anniversary. The truck was owned by a welding company (you can see the old logo I found under the green paint on the door) and was garage kept all its life. The truck has a few small rust holes at the bottom of one of the front fenders and surface rust. Otherwise, the truck is all steel with no Bondo or filler. Other than a few small dents on the inner fender wells the bed is completely straight. The bed is in great shape. All lights and gauges work. The previous owner (who was a friend of the family) had the engine and transmission rebuilt and a new Dana60 rear axle installed. The truck has surface rust underneath on the frame and inner fender wells but no rot. The truck also has a PTO on the transmission for running welders and generators, etc. The tires have about 95% tread left. The truck has sat for 2 years although it runs and drives. There are only 33,500 original miles on it. It will need a tune up and brake drums sanded. We have the original bill of sale from 1953. This truck is truly a barn find and is a real time capsule. Excellent for a weekend fixer upper or father/son project. In a very short time, you can have it on the road and ready for car shows and cruise nights!
