THIS S A ONCE IN A LFETIME FIND. TRUE RUST FREE CALIFORNIA COURIER
REALLY A TRUE TIME CAPSULE FROM FORD HISTORY
This 1973 Ford Courier truck with a stock drivetrain and newer original-color paint and interior. It features a lowered stance front and rear over 15″ wheels with dog-dish hubcaps, removed rear bumper, and subtle pinstriping. The truck is in great running order and was serviced 500 miles ago. The 1.8L four cylinder is unmodified with original smog equipment in place. Overall the mild hotrod build looks good and it gets lots of attention at shows and around town. The Ford Courier was built in partnership with Mazda and sold in some markets as Mazda. This truck's lowered stance is achieved with shorter front springs and small lowering blocks on the rear leafs.Shown here with its rubber bedliner lifted, the bed looks to be original and solid, with Stock wheels have been replaced with white, powder-coated 15-inchers wrapped in newer rubber and capped with '48 Ford chrome covers. Tires are Winrun R380 195/65/15's in front and Saffiro SF3000 215/70/15's in the rear. The four-wheel drum brakes are reportedly in good condition and stop well and straight The steering wheel and dash are solid and crack-free, rare for these models. With the exception of the AM radio, all the electricals and switches reportedly work, including the lights, turn signals and horn. The hood latch, windows, vents and parking brake also operate properly, as do the speedo and gauges. The heater works, 1800cc SOHC IL4 is rated at 74 hp @ 5,070 rpm and 92 ft-lb of torque @ 3,500 rpm. The engine bay is tidy and original runs well, doesn't smoke or make noise . The four-speed manual transmission shifts well and isn't noisy,The engine compartment wears its original paint and the original labels like this one are intact. No need for high-tech electronic/diagnostic equipment here, a plug-gapper, timing light and a feeler gauge for the breaker points are all you need. The truck wears blue-and-yellow California plates from new. Relocated from sunny cali to sunny florida in 2016 where since been a a garage and loved
Paymnet due with 3days auction come inspect drive. Sold asis with no known defects. I would drive her back to cali with out thinking about it
