3 day no reserve auction. Ends on my Birthday, buy a van give a gift ;p
Happy to talk to anyone, and will happily show via FaceTime. Come see her if you can, I work from home and can make time to show anytime.
I have for sale a 1964 Ford Econoline E-100 Van. This van was a special order Olive Drab Green and sold for service to the US military. I was told it was a former Army Ambulance at fort Hood Texas. This is a window van. It is in running and driving condition but I wouldsuggest doing some work if you want it to be a daily driver. She needs is a new carb as the one in the van has a broken part on it. She will still start and drive but it is harder to do since I broke the bit on the carb. Brakes were just redone, so was a bunch of wiring. The Body is in good condition. One dent in the passenger door that can be fixed by a PDR guy. Had a ton of paint on her exterior over her army life. Seriously come check it out this thing is in awesome shape. The interior is original paint and looks crazy good. I have some extra bits that will go with the Van.
***The issue withthe carb is the choke not working correctly. there is a wire that controls the choke. The area where it connects to the carb snapped off. I was messing with it and broke it more. Now I am having trouble getting her to start consistently. I started the original listing at 4K. I dropped the price $500 when I had trouble starting her. Now dropped another $650 to the starting bid
Deposit duewithin 24 hours. Balance in cash, cashiers check, or Venmo within 3 days of the auctions end. I can hang on to the van free of charge for a couple weeks (2 or 3 max) until you can arrange transport.
If you bid be prepared to buy. There is no reserve. This will sell to the highest bidder.
This is an excellent candidate for restoration. I am selling because I purchased this at thebeginning of the summer with the intent to rebuild the engine with Clifford performance parts and repaint her so I could have a car to drive around this winter, I have been a motorcycle only guy for a long time. Long story short I had to re-floor two rooms in my house and replace myAC in the last 3 months. I don't have the money to do what I wanted and I am entering the busiest part of my year. I don't want this to sit for months and I cannot afford to finish her right now. I am looking for someone that will love her and give her the attention she deserves.
There is no title. This is a former Army vehicle. Apparently the Army does not have titles. It has never been titled that I can tell. I went through all the steps, including a police inspection to get a title but ran into a water leak in my house that stopped me from ever actually getting it done. At this pint I would need to start all over and I do not have the time to do that. Will come with bill of sale. **I do not have time to go through l the steps to title. Is is especially hard in Austin since they only inspect once a month and there is about a three or four month wait to be able to get he inspection needed.
Sold as is where is. Buyers responsibility to collect the Van. I am available to assist with viewing and can meet a shipper anytime. No warranties expressed or implied. I tried to describe the van to the best of my abilities but our ideas may be different. That said I would encourage you to review the picture carefully and ask questions. Come to see her if you can. While this van runs and stops I bought it as a project to restore it. Ihaven't driven it more than 5 or 6 miles at a time. It should be considered as a vehicle for restoration.
Awesome vintage Ford.Former Army AmbulanceOlive Drab Paint from the Ford factory.Excellent patina on the inside.Outside needs paint and bodywork
