Car description |

....Very nice 1929 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. Just finishedextensiverehab of the car. Installed new tires, tubes and rim strips, checked all the wheel bearings, suspension components and adjusted the mechanical brake linkages. Flushed the radiator, oil changed six times in 100 miles, trans and differentials done.
The starter was rebuilt, along with the new starter switch. We removed all the old wiring and installed a factory correct wiring harness. All the electrics work well. New plugs, condensor, rotor and tune up including adjusting the throttle linkages and spark advace levers. New head light switches and bulbs.
The head was remove, everything cleane, new head gasket and we had the head milled flat.
Installed new clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Replaced all the hardware for the rear drive shaft mounting to the transmission. Shifts through all gear smoothly. Stops as well as any mechanical brake car should.
Cleaned the fuel tank and installed new gas filter and a backup filter.
The car does have a salvage title from 1993. I have new title issued by New Jersey state DMV, they inspected the car and issued a new road worthy title. For the life of me we could not find out why there was a salvage title.. There was no apparent damage to the vehilcle. It could have been from 50 years ago.
Don't buy this car if your looking for a 100 mph vintage, this isn'tfor you, cruisespeed is 45-50 mph top speed maybe 65 mph downhill.
