Car description

This is a really nice 1970 Mustang that started life as a 302 fastback. This car was built using the best appearance items for a 70 Mustang. The exterior has the Boss 302 appearance package. but the interior has the much nicer Mach 1 seat covers and deluxe door panels. The interior is very nice with new headliner. carpet. seat covers. dash pad. door panels. and even a NOS 1970 Ford AM/FM radio that works great. The car also has the fold down rear seat. This car is rust free. The paint on this car is very nice but is over 15 years old. so there are a few paint flaws as shown in the pictures. There are no dents and the bumpers and all chrome parts are very nice. The 15" tires are only a few months old and have less than 1000 miles on them. The drivetrain on this car is fantastic. The engine is a mid 90s truck roller motor. 351W with an Eagle stroker kit bringing displacement to 408 Cu. In. It has a hydraulic roller cam with ProComp Aluminum heads and Procomp ignition with the external timing adjusting distributor. Also a 780 dual feed Holley. This engine combo calculated at approximately 490 horsepower (not dynoed). Radiator is new. Transmission is a C4 beefed up with a 2500 stall converter. Rear end is a newly rebuilt 9 inch Ford with 3. 50 positive traction gearing. The car has power front discs with drums on the rear (all new). All suspension is new including rebuilding of the power steering ram. This car is extremely nice and has placed in three out of the four shows I entered it in. It is a blast to drive and very dependable. I drove it from Baton Rouge to Biloxi. Mississippi for Cruising the Coast in October and it got 14. 6 MPG at 60 mph on the interstate. I put over 500 miles on it during that week and the car performed flawlessly. I have never taken the car to the track. but it is extremely strong. It will light the tires up all the way through first and a good ways through second. If you want a car that looks like a high dollar Boss for less than half the price and that's way faster. then this is it. By the way the VIN is:0 Year 1970T Assembly Metuchen. New Jersey02 Body SportsRoof 2-Door FastbackF Engine V8 302 CID 2V1100xx Serial 1100xx I have a clean La. title in my name. I have more pictures available on request. Thanks
