Car description |
---|
Great project car - Located in Belvidere, IL (near Rockford... about an hour and a half west of Chicago). This is rare Sport Sprint edition, 200 cubic inch. It has the scoops in the hood for the turn signals and chrome (polished aluminum) rocker panels. I have all of the parts, some of which were purchased new from Ford 40 years ago. It been garage stored for 40 years.
As you can see the interior is in very good shape. It has a racing steering wheel, but I do still have the original wheel as well (as can be seen in the photos). The mechanicals were all rebuilt (engine, transmission, exhaust, radiator, new brake master cylinder, brake cylinders, and brakes), but the engine has not been ran since 1986 (shortly after the rebuild) - although it was started several times throughout the 90's and early 2000's. Should not take much to get this thing cleaned up and running again.
I have a car hauling trailer and would consider delivery to you with no charge, depending on distance and if the auction exceeds the reserve - Let's talk!
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions!
