Car description |

71 Fastback that is a nice driver. The car runs great and looks cool driving around. It came with some good options when it was new. I added new dash pad, new bumpers, and the chin spoiler. Before I got it someone had the headliner and front seats redone. It has the center gauges and the hard to find factory tachometer.
A couple of years ago I had it in to get the gas gauge and center gauges working. Since then the oil and temp gauge have stopped working again. The steering wheel in the pictures has been replaced with a used factory wheel so the cancelators would work. The horn and radio do not work.
The car has factory fold down rear seat, the Mach 1 hood and rear spoiler. I got the original shifter with the car but it was loose and will need bushings if you want to put it back in.
The Engine in it is not original, it is a 351ci 2 barrel. It has headers on it and they do not leak. As you can see from the door tag the car came with a 351 4V originally and the car was Grabber Blue when it was new. The Rear end is a 9 inch. Tranny is Auto and works fine. Brakes are good (disks up front) and I put a new master cylinder on when I got the car. Front tires are very good, rears are fair. The car has a little rust but came from the south and is way more solid than most.
Not sure of the miles on the car, I put 120k in the box so ebay would take the listing.
Nice looking car that is good driver now and could be taken to a new level later. two I 8 ate sixty-seven two four I niner
