Car description

1984 Mustang Lx Notchback. These early 4 eye coupes are hard to find, the factory sunroof makes this foxbody more rare. I am only the 2nd registered owner, and know the complete history of the car from new. There are no liens or loans tied to this car. I own it free and clear and can sign it over to you. The buyer will be provided with a GA Bill of Sale. This car has never been hit or in any type of accident. No respray, zero rust, zero bondo, all original sheet metal, and no hack jobs. The AutoCheck Score on this car says it all....it's off the charts. This has always been a GA car and has always been within a 20 mile radius of the current location. Originally, this car had the stock V6 with a C5 automatic transmission when I purchased it. Due to work and family obligations, I was not able to personally work on the car. Consequently, I dropped the car off at MV Performance, for Tim Matherly to build. I've known Tim and the crew at MV Performance for well over a decade. They really know their stuff and have worked on several of my vehicles over the years. The build was completed a few months ago. Since then hardly any miles have been put on it due to my busy schedule. The interior is original and could use a coat of Duplicolor interior paint to look really nice. The dash shows cracks and deterioration in the factory stereo speaker hole locations; a dash cover is included. The factory front seats have been upgraded to 99-04 (power) cloth seats. The original factory sport seats, with halos, are included in this sale. Why am I selling? I've had several Mustangs and am looking to try something different. This car has been adult driven and I have been the only person to drive it. Absolutely zero burnouts, donuts, or track time.
* Ford 5.0 V8
* Quick Fuel - 4 barrel carb w/ electric choke
* New fuel tank (stock replacement), lines, and electric fuel pump with remote cutoff switch (driver side dash)
* Aluminum radiator
* Weiand Stealth - High-rise dual plane intake
* B303 cam
* Ford Racing valve springs
* Ford Cobra 1.72 roller rockers
* GT40P heads
* MSD ignition setup
* Ford Racing wires
* Long tube headers with 3" collectors / H-pipe / 2 chamber mufflers
* Upgraded to Ford 8.8 rear end (originally 7.5)
* 3.73 Ford gear
* Tubular upper and lower control arms
* Lakewood shocks
* Tremec manual transmission - highly desirable over the typical T5.
* Ford Racing adjustable clutch quadrant - NOT the cheap plastic junk.
* Fuzion 225/60/15 tires on 10 hole wheels. These tires and wheels came off a friends 86 GT. I would suggest that the new owner be prepared to replace the tires as two of them do show heavy wear.
