This stunning 1940 Ford Sedan was professionally built to be driven and enjoyed. The Deluxe Coach received a total restoration that included a broad range of mechanical enhancements. A beautiful coat of GM Manta Green Metallic was applied to the classic exterior. Preparation and finish is excellent, as is all chrome and stainless. The smart tan hi-grade vinyl interior is well designed and the updated dash incorporates a full compliment of VDO classic gauges, comfortable bench seats, Vintage A/C, AM/FM... stereo, tinted glass and tilt-wheel. A detailed engine compartment houses the GM350 Crate motor, a small-block that sounds sweet and is very streetable. It is fitted with a Holley 'Sniper' EFI intake system and Chevy 'Rams Horn' exhaust manifolds that exit into a free-flowing dual exhaust. The hydraulic cam burbles with a mild lift/duration that mates well with the 3-speed 350 TurboHydramatic and Ford 8" differential with 3.25:1 gearing. All electrics have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration and cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The solid chassis anchors a Mustang II front end with power steering and 4-wheel 11" power disc brakes. Sailun Z-rated radials are mounted on beautiful 17"/18" American Racing alloy wheels.
