Car description |
---|
1963 Ford Fairlane 500. Never left California. Rust free. 302 ci 1970 Ford engine. Front power disk brakes. 3-speed automatic transmission. Electrical ignition. Holley 2-barrel carburetor. Bluetooth stereo in glove box. Dual 'turn down' exhaust.
The engine was rebuilt around 25k miles on odometer. Vehicle is very reliable. Disk brakes installed (front) 2 years ago. Front suspension upgraded 4 years ago (no squeaks). Radiator re-cored 3 years ago. New battery and coil. We love this Fairlane, but no longer have a garage for her and recently purchased a fuel efficient family car. It is a fun cruiser, but has plenty of horsepower when you may want it.
There is a surface scratch on the trunk and passenger side door. Horn currently does not work. Interior roof liner could use replacing as well as some fray on interior piping. Interior door guards also needing some TLC. I was focused on performance and safety and never got to the minimal aesthetic faults.
Serious buyers only please. Hoping to find a good home for a special car.
