Car description |
---|
Originally purchased in 1955 by a U.S. Marine who was transferred to Okinawa soon after. He could only drive it when he came home on leave. The rest of the time it was garaged. He eventually passed away and in 1995 with 74,000 miles on it the current owner, a friend of the family acquired the car. The current owner then restored the interior as shown in photos 10,11,12, 13 and 14. And that includes a new headliner as shown in photo 15. The outside speaks for itself as there is no rust or dents. The current owner then stored it in his garage starting and driving it just enough to keep it in working condition. He actually does not want to sell it, however when he was visiting the Philippines he had to have emergency open heart surgery and his insurance would not cover it. So his sister paid for the operation and he really wants to pay her back and that is why he is selling it.
It is a three speed stick column shift. It has the original engine that starts right up and runs and drives as shown in photo 24. Sounds like a hot rod from the sixties. The owner believes in having a spare Alternator and Voltage Regulator, so in the trunk there is a brand new Alternator and Voltage Regulator as shown in photo 23. The tires are all new looking in fact there is a brand new looking spare tire in the trunk with matching rim and white wall. All the lights work including the turn signals and so does the windshield wiper.
Payment method: Pay 12% of the sale price to my Pay pal account first; then pay 88% to the vehicle owner at time of pickup (or before) in the form of cash or certified bank check. I will email the amounts.
