Car description

Everyone who owned a Bronco in the day did the same thing, shoved too big a V8 into them, cut out the rear fenders, added flares, did a lift and proceeded to scare the hell out of themselves trying to slow it down with the stock drum brakes from speed. Seemed like a great idea at the time. To find a Bronco that avoided myself and others of similar ilk remaining stock is almost as rare as finding one that that...has not been consumed by the tin worm, terrible body repair and patched panels to boot. So when this 1969 Wimbledon White, 6 Cylinder, Three on the Tree Bronco came by, it was a no brainer about selling it. It is almost completely stock, absolutely sound and mechanically really good. Shifting the "3 on Tree" took me back a century, it was as fun as I remembered. It felt like an old pair of familiar shoes I had not worn for awhile, it just natural.. The images say mostly everything that needs to be known. There are no signs of impact or rust underneath. The sides are dead straight. The doors close as well as when they were new and it drives just like you would expect a 50 year old truck would. In fact, it has the best drum brakes I have driven in recent history. The Bronco would look perfect in Tahoe or at someone's cabin. It is not meant to cruise the Freeways, take on the Rubicon, it is symbol of a setting much more relaxed and rural. It has a tow bar set up and an interesting feature I have not seen. There is a cable that comes out in front of the Warn Winch that is directly tied into the brakes. When you pull the cable, the brakes are applied on the Bronco. The owner is going to have to explain it better but it does look enthralling. The roof rack has all the tools of Destruction every one might want, all you will have to do is add gas. The VIN# is U15FLF95064. Miles showing are 17,377 but it should be assumed it is over. It is available for inspection 9-5, Monday through Friday at Automania LLC, 895 SE Gladiola Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97526, 541-223-5103, Oregon Dealer DA1287.
