Car description |
---|
You are bidding on a 1967 Mustang Coupe w/ Vinyl roof. Originally a 289 C-4 transmission car, but does NOT come with either as they are out of the car and gone. The body is in good shape, with some rust bubbling in the quarter panels and paint chipping is sporadic areas (see pics). The floor panels have some surface rust, but are still solid (see pics). The frame rails are in solid shape.
The car comes with a new battery tray and engine compartment side panel (see pic) as they are rusted. The wiring harness is in the car and in reasonable shape.
As you can see in the pics, the seats are in reasonably nice shape, but the car is missing carpet, bumpers, gas tank and other components.
The car has a multi-gray painted Shelby style fiberglass hood (extends beyond normal lights), instead of the standard hood.
The cars brakes work, but not the emergency brake, so the vehicle will need to be picked up and delivered with care. Please factor this in when bidding.
The vinyl roof and body are a great foundation to launch a full restoration... This has the potential to be a nice ride with some work. As mentioned, you are bidding on car that needs the full drivetrain and some detail work to get active and nice again.
Please let me know if you have questions...
Thank you!
