I am selling my 1947 Ford coupe as back surgery wont let me finish. This was a one owner car that the woman bought new and stored it in 1968. All original paint, upholstery, and everything except the engine. I had a 8BA engine that I had totally rebuilt to the tune of $4900.00. Still have the original engine. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. New wheel cylinders and new shoes, master cylinder and lines. Drained transmission and rear end, installed new oils. Purchased Reds headers and extensions. Waiting for muffler shop to install mufflers and tailpipes. The seat covers was put on when the car was new. I pulled the backs to see how good the seats was and they are perfect with the exception around the bottom where mice ate a few holes. Headliner is perfect...There is more stuff that was purchased which I have receipts for, but to much to mention. The new engine runs awesome. Very good oil pressure and runs cool, about 175 degrees, I have drove the car a few blocks to make sure the transmission and rear end works as they should. The tire are old, but hold air good. This is a awesome car, but needs a few things. The right door has been painted at some time as the lower fenders on right side also. I have done my best to describe and have restored cars the last 35 years, but my back and age, 81, says NO MORE. I reserve the right to cancel this ad as it is advertised local I prefer e-mails because of my hearing, but here is my cell 641 757 1423
