Car description |

This 1972 Ford Country Sedan 6-passenger station wagon is for sale and ready for someone to finish or just drive and enjoy. It's a Wimbledon White, base trim level with the optional 429 cubic inch, 4bbl V8 backed by a recent, completely rebuilt C6 automatic transmission. Unfortunately the previous owner removed the luggage rack and all badging from car before I purchased it.
In addition to the transmission being completely rebuilt (with new torque converter), I've also had a brand new windshield installed, the seats have been completely redone in NOS Ford plaid replacing the original all-vinyl seating - which was in pretty bad shape. Along with freshly upholstered seats, it has a brand new carpet set. The car also has a brand new set of black wall tires mounted on Wheel Vintiques OEM FoMoCo-style 15x7 steel wheels with NOS dog dish caps. Other mechanical work includes a brand new master cylinder and power booster and brand new dual exhaust from the crossover back. I will include many spare parts including a set of NOS "Country Sedan" badging for the car with the sale.
I've been torn between keeping the original paint, and having it repainted in it's original color - unfortunately I have too many other projects and would love to see this go to someone else to enjoy it.
All work has been completed over the past few of months. This car runs great and is a real treat to drive! The only rust on the car is underneath, just behind the rear-drivers side tire, a common area on these big full-size Ford wagons, but the rest of the body is rust free.
Let me know if you have any questions, this would be a great wagon for hauling the family around in, cruising to shows or just getting out on the highway!
I do reserve the right to list the car-locally. The car has been recently registered in the State of Oregon.
