Very Rare!! 1969 Shelby GT500 Drag Pack Convertible! 1 of 1. 428 SCJ- Super Cobra Jet. V code 3:91 Automatic. Only about 20 drag pack convertibles were built in 1969 and only 8 were automatics. Only about 20 more were built in 1970, making the drag pack convertibles some of the rarest amd most desirable Shelbys built. Only 43 total drag pack convertibles built ever. This particular one is 1 of the 8 autos built in 69. The car is currently painted Gulf Stream Aqua, but was originally Silver Jade. It is the only automatic silver jade one built in 1969. It is currently a great driver quality car. It has original fiberglass fenders amd hood. Original quarters. It was painted and restored many years ago before I acquired the car, and it is not all correct. It does not have the original engine or transmission. It appears to have had some patch repair on floors. Minimal rust underneath. I believe it has a 67 428 block, probably a PI. It is missing the oil cooler as the car had been converted to an AC car, which it should not have. It is also missing the correct carb, air cleaner, radiator and smog. The car can be restored (which it deserves), or it can also be enjoyed just like it is as I have enjoyed it.
