This is a beautiful example of a well maintained and beautifully restored 1957 T-Bird in the very desirable color "Coral Sand". This D code Bird has the original numbers matching, 312ci/245hp V8 engine mated to a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. It has has only 3 owners since new. The professional restoration was completed 17 years ago and it still looks like just rolled off the showroom floor. It spent most of its life in Florida and traveled to Indiana in 1999. This car was totally rust free when it was restored. The odometer shows 4,289 miles. The previous owner believed it to be 104,289 total miles on the chassis and claims the odometer was never rolled back to zero after the restoration was completed. The complete drivetrain was rebuilt during the restoration. All suspension components were replaced with new NOS parts or OEM equivalent. Everything works on this car except the clock. It runs and drives out like new. The radial wide whites are only two years old! The spare tire is still the original spare tire!! The owner did replace the original Town and Country radio with an am/fm cassette. All chrome and stainless has been either re-chromed or re-polished. The glass is beautiful with no cracks or lamination issues. The original T-Pot 4bbl carburetor was replaced with a Holley 600cfm carb for better performance and reliability. The original radiator was re-cored. The colonial white hardtop is in excellent condition. The paint was done in acrylic enamel by Mike Miller 17 years ago and it still looks new! The interior and door panels are in excellent condition as well. This is a fine example of a 1957 Thunderbird that has been beautifully restored!
