Car description |
---|
1959 Ford Country Sedan Wagon with deluxe trim, there were approximately 3800 County Sedan Wagons made in 1959. This vehicle has three rows of seats. Original motor and transmission.
The brightwork (body trim) is exceptional, the drivers side front fend is damaged/bent.
The glass is all there not broken and is very rare, the tailgate glass is worth hundreds of dollars by itself.
The body fit is good, the doors fit well, and the fitment lines are good. The car is very straight and solid.
The engine although original to the car, will need to be rebuilt. It runs on 7 of the 8 cylinders. The push rods for cylinder # 7 have been removed and I don't know why they were removed. Gas tank will need to be replaced/repaired.
Electrical wiring needs attention under the hood and dash. The generator has been replaced with an alternator.
Interior: It's all there, all the knobs, switches and accessories are there. The seats and headliner need to be refurbished.
Rust on the drivers side rocker panel needs to be repaired as well as the rear wheel well on the drivers side. The floor boards are rusted through in a couple spots.
Buyer responsible for pickup/shipping.
