1932 Ford, Full Fender, 5 Window Coupe. All original steel! Every piece of tin is factory Ford except the fuel tank. As you can see from the photo's, the bare soda blasted body needed very little body filler or rusty panels replaced. The all stock body was reinforced, and a full length, square tube floor frame was fabricated with removable sheet metal floor panels. Lets get to some of the highlights: We started with the industry standard, Total Cost Involved Chassis. Their 1932 Ford Frame has been refined for decades; it was solid platform to start. Owner wanted a fully independent car for a superior ride and comfort. Again TCI's Custom IFS kit was our first choice. This show quality car has polished stainless/chrome and polished components, anti sway bar, rack and pinion with 11" Wilwood disc brakes. For the rear, we chose Heidts' Independent Rear Suspension, Wilwood disc - with parking brake, 4:11 TracLok posi rear gear. To make the chassis the very best ride quality, RideTech coilovers were assembled and tuned to the car. Both front and rear Wilwood discs are operated by vacuum assisted power brakes. Frame, Brackets and other small steel parts are powder coated Gloss Blak for years of durability and corrosion protection. Driveline, GM Performance Parts, 330Hp Vortec 350ci crate engine with plenty of power and torque supply. Mated with a dyno tuned Hughes GM 700R4 Transmission. Custom built 10" convertor, 2500 stall with automatic stall speed lock up controller, with 4:11 rear gears is just right for cruising or need to giddy up whenever needed. Engine component highlights: Full MSD Ignition and Billet Specialties Serpentine Drive Kit keeps everything turning in the right direction. Polished intake, Edlerbrock carburetor, Billet Specialties finned air cleaner, valve covers, wire separator's and line clamps. Walker 4 core radiator and a/c condenser with Cooling Components thermostatically controlled electric fan/shroud sits right behind the polished stainless deuce grill insert. Speedway Motors' polished stainless ram horn, stainless steel Borla mufflers were routed carefully through the frame with polished stainless steel exhaust tips. A 16 Gallon 32 Ford replacement tank provided by "Tanks", uses as electric fuel pump delivering inline filtered fuel to the carb. With the Retro Rod look, all the bright exterior parts are mostly high quality Drake parts. Stainless Steel/ Chrome front and rear bumpers, BIG '32 Stainless headlights mounted on a stainless drop bar, stainless cowl lights, handles, emblems, windshield frame, grill insert and many other Drake product's throughout. Including the Drake supplied vulcanized rubber 32 Ford running boards. Wheels are from Wheel Vintiques, Wire wheel's for that classis retro look, upgraded chrome wheel with stainless steel spokes and nipples, with USA made BFGoodrich TA radials. Lets go inside the car! Seating frame supplied by Glide Engineering. Aftermarket industry leader, Flaming River Products Banjo Steering Wheel with 1/2 wrap leather, Polished wheel adaptor, is mounted onto the gorgeous polished stainless shifter tilt column with neutral safety switch along with stainless steering u-joints and steering shaft pointing you in the right direction! Retro interior design has black grain leather with red stitching, stock dash with gauge insert. Gauge package provided by New Vintage USA. Car has fully operational push out windshield, tinted glass fixed flush mounted rear qt. & rear window. The audio head unit is mounted in an overhead console. Hidden behind the seat, is a bulkhead section providing the amp abd battery. Included is a small storage area. The body was sprayed with Glasurit paint inside and out and would be considered show quality. Zero chips, scrapes or dings.
