Car description

A truly unique hot rod built in the 80's by someone very talented. Featuring a rear engine Corvair flat six cylinder motor and power glide transmission. The engine was rebuilt last year, bored and an upgraded camshaft also installed. This spring I installed an HEI distributor and high voltage coil, as well as a set of four famous Wolf brand rebuilt performance carburetors. The engine was a 1965 140 horsepower engine to begin with. A Corvair rear clip was nicely joined to the 36 Ford frame in the rear, and the Corvair front suspension was fitted to the front of the 36 frame-thus independent front and rear suspension. No longer needing a center driveshaft hump, it was removed making a flat floor. A full belly panwas then added to the bottom of the frame. McClean wire wheels drive the big and little tires. The soft burgandy interior is in amazing shape for its age, and was tastefully done, The paint being of 80's vintage, and lacquer, shows well with only a few chips, and or cracks. The under hood area has been converted to a trunk, and carpeted with fuel tank access. The rear spare tire carrier on the car comes off easily to expose the engine, as well as engine access thru the trunk. This is truly a one off build that gets a lot of looks at car shows...open the hood up front and walk away and stand at a distance away watching people peer in to an empty space. I am offering no warranty of any kind with the car-view pictures for condition, and the transportation of the car is up to the new owner. I encourage questions, and inspections. The car can be viewed with prior notice. A $500. non refundable deposit within 48 hours, and full payment within 7 days is needed. ...thanks for looking!I FORGOT TO MENTION...lots of chrome on the engine!!
