Car description |

Up for your consideration is a RUSTFREE CALIFORNIA 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Hardtop. This is an example of an unmolested, original, '64 Fairlane. This car has over 90% original paint.
Options include: factory air conditioning, ( It is all there, just needs to be hooked up, apparently it was removed to install the aluminum radiator ), 289 V8 engine, Cruise O Matic transmission, Power steering, AM Radio, and factory seat belts.
Upgrades include: Power front disc brakes with dual master cylinder, dual exhaust with crossover, Aluminum radiator, chrome engine dress up kit, Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, new belts, hoses, and wires. New tires with less than 100 miles.
The side stainless trim is very good to excellent, and the chrome bumpers are very good to fair.
Body: As stated, this is a California car, and is rustfree, see photos of trunk area, door seams and hem welds, and under carriage. The paint is very nice for a 54 year old paint. All glass is Ford Car Lite, and is not broken or cracked. It does need a new radio antenna, I have a brand new antenna in the box, that goes with the car. The original jack and accessories are in the trunk. There are a few small dents, and two very small holes that were drilled by a previous owner to mount a fender, rear view mirror on the drivers fender.... Why? I have no idea...
Interior: See photos, the carpet, door panels, and dash are in super nice condition, the seat covers are not ripped or torn, but are not the correct pattern for a 1964 Fairlane 500. The dash and bezels are very nice. A new headliner and sun visors will need to be replaced.
Extras: Included with the sale are, the ORIGINAL window sticker, owners manual with the original buyers name, a complete history of owners of the car, service manual, facts book, and the manual for the AM-FM CD player that is mounted in the glove box. I also have a car cover for the car, (not fitted), and if you want it, I have a fiberglass, teardrop, hood that needs work.
This is not a show car, but a car you can hop in and drive and enjoy. If you want a rust free car to restore with very minor body work, this is it, the body is virtually rust free...
