Like new Model T. (Notice the off-frame restoration in the images. Nut & Bolt replacement throughout.) So much fun to drive, and the stock Model T transmission with the Ruckstell is easier to drive than a standard transmission. Rebuilt, repainted, and nearly perfect. We've done everything to this car: Rewired, Ruckstell adjust and service, Complete engine service, Upgraded to 12 Volts, and just a lot of other stuff, including new Texas T distributor, solenoid start with push button on dash, although "Stomper" switch on floor is still in-place and a new replacement a few months ago from Macs. (Engine interior images show new engine mains, connecting, and crank (mag'd at shop prior to grinding). All machine, babbit work professionally done.)
We go up big hills, and down with ease. If it's a hot day, like today here - mid-90s, she doesn't throw up as others do: belt drive cooling fan and thermosiphon work as they should. Smooth running. Accelerates as a new Model T did in 1927. (If you are a California buyer, you may be interested in our set of 1927 plates in beautiful shape, open for Californiaregistration.)
Comes with just a whole bunch of new spares; original tool kit; a complete but disassembled 1927 transmission with Kevlar bands, magnets removed and a Texas T Oil Slinger installed, unused we've had sitting in the shop waiting to use on one of our Ts, but never have; books; shop manual; and a duster with cap and goggles.
All the receipts for everything over the years: A very complete file.
Wire wheels with good tread. Ruckstell gives you a four speed, easy to drive car that can easily keep up with traffic. Flies along the roadway. The best T I've ever driven, and I have driven and owned several. (I tend to keep the Ruckstell engaged (lever back) when around town and only shift to Model T (lever forward) when on an open road where the speed limit is 35 or more.)
Everything's right about this car: Upholstery, Top, Floor Mats, extra parts and includes complete vintage T tool kit. Starts perfectly: Holley Vape carburetor rebuilt. Battery cutoff switch. "One Man" top smooth and easy to set. Start quickly with crank or electric. Correct Chesterfield Green with Black fenders. I take digital images of everything, so if you need an extra image or two, write me. Have them for the inside of the engine, Holley being rebuilt, and so on. We drive this car two to three times a week: Never had to tow it home; Runs very nicely.
With regard to transport: We're not a car dealership or transport company, but we do have local resources that are insured and reasonable, if you need the help.
Of course, you could pay more for a car missing body parts, without the features of this car, but termed, Roadster, Speedster or some other misnomer. There's really nothing out there comparable for the money, or for a hell of a lot more.
